Every startup launch comes with anticipation, excitement, and a bunch of nerves.
Today I’m excited to share something fun I built for the indie hacker & founder community: launchlog.fun — a minimalist leaderboard of startups where each entry gets hilariously roasted by AI.
Why launchlog.fun?
There are tons of places to list a launch — Product Hunt, Reddit, Twitter, personal blogs — but very few of them have personality.
I wanted a space that:
Feels playful — because building is hard enough.
Celebrates launches — without taking itself too seriously.
Turns the spotlight on community creativity — and gives everyone a laugh.
So I made a leaderboard where:
✨ You can browse startups
🤣 Each startup gets an AI-generated roast
🚀 It’s super simple — no clutter, no frills
Click, scroll, chuckle.
What you’ll find
On launchlog.fun you’ll see a feed of projects from independent makers and founders. Each one:
Has a name
May include a link
Gets served up an AI-powered roast to keep things light
The focus is on simplicity — a clean UI and a playful twist that keeps you scrolling.
Why roasting?
Because the startup world can feel overly serious:
Endless hype decks
Super polished showcases
Hyper-competitive positioning
But behind every launch there’s a story — and sometimes that story deserves a friendly, comedic jab.
Roasts help:
Break tension
Encourage engagement
Give creators a smile
And hey — if your startup shows up on a leaderboard with a clever roast, you know you’ve arrived 😂
Built for indie hackers & founders
Whether you’re:
👨💻 Launching your first MVP
🚀 Iterating on a project
📣 Just curious what others are building
launchlog.fun gives you a fun place to browse community launches — and maybe inspire your next idea.
Try it out
Go check out the leaderboard, enjoy the roasts, and feel free to share it with friends.
If you’re building something cool and want to see yourself on the list — who knows — you might deserve an AI-generated zing 😉
