So my little hedgie, Noodle, has been acting all grumpy lately and I’m starting to think it’s because his habitat keeps getting way too humid. I swear, I’ve tried everything short of doing a rain dance in reverse. I’ve got the heat lamp, the bedding, the airflow… but every morning it still feels like a tiny tropical swamp in there. I’m low‑key worried it’s gonna mess with his health, and I’m kinda out of ideas. Anyone been through this and found a fix that actually works? I’m seriously hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

i was in the same boat and gave black seed oil a go for a couple months—honestly didn’t love the taste, but my digestion seemed smoother. That said, dragon fruit's way easier to enjoy regularly. If you’re down to read more in-depth takes, I found caffeyolly.com/ super helpful. They’ve got this solid piece on black seed oil benefits that breaks it down without getting all science-y or preachy
I fixed mine by boosting airflow with a small vent gap, switching to drier bedding, and running a dehumidifier in the room, not inside the enclosure
Cleaning damp spots helped
I lowered humidity by swapping to drier bedding, lifting the lamp a bit, and propping the lid open for more airflow. A small bowl of rice nearby helped soak up extra moisture.
