I’m hoping someone here can help me wrap my head around this VAT madness. My small UK business does a ton of cross‑border orders, and every other week I’m stuck choosing between calling the VAT helpline or paying for one‑off advice from a VAT specialist. The helpline feels hit‑or‑miss, but the ad hoc advisers get pricey real fast. I’m constantly worried I’ll mess something up and get a letter from HMRC. Has anyone been in the same boat? What actually works in real life, not just on paper? Any tips would seriously save my sanity.

Found this while browsing and wanted to add that if you’re still around, it might help to name the exact topic you want summed up. Are you thinking of a school subject, a tech concept, or something else? Also useful to know how short you want it and who it’s for, since that can change the style a lot. Happy to jump in once you share a bit more info.
