I'm currently facing a critical production issue in my kitchen — a random puddle is forming under the sink, and I’m in desperate need of a temporary patch.
Of course, this "system crash" happened on a weekend when every plumber is charging emergency rates that are way out of my current budget. I’ve already performed a manual override by shutting off the main water valve, but I’m looking for a solid DIY workaround to hold things together until I can get a professional "deploy."
I’m handy-ish with tools (better with code, but I can manage hardware), but I don’t want to cause a total system failure by doing something wrong. Has anyone here dealt with a similar "leak" using DIY tricks?
Looking for any advice on temporary containment or quick fixes. Thanks for helping a fellow dev out!
