Bowling vs darts at Spinners UK – which activity offers the better group experience for a mixed-age crowd?

So I’m trying to wrangle together a night out at Spinners UK for a seriously mixed-age crew – think teens, parents, and even my slightly competitive nan. I’m torn between booking bowling or darts. Bowling feels more classic, but darts looks kinda cool with all the flashy boards and game modes. Trouble is, I don’t wanna pick something half the group ends up bored with. Has anyone done either (or both) with a big mixed crowd? Which one actually keeps everyone laughing instead of staring at their phones? Any advice would be massively appreciated!
