Great News!
Finally, last Sunday, the ad revenue broke through $30! Although it only lasted for a day and dropped back to the $20s the next day, I still want to congratulate myself 🎉
From zero earnings to stabilizing at around $1 per day, it took a few days. Then, it stayed at about $1 per day for several months. At one point, the ad revenue even dropped to $0 because I hadn’t received the Adsense PIN. But just like getting through a streak of bad luck, things turned around once the PIN finally arrived.
It took about a week to go from $0 to $1 per day, and another 15 days or so to climb from $1 to $10 per day. Then, in less than a week, on the 28th, the ad revenue hit $31.57!
Building an overseas website is exactly as #哥飞 described—it’s like planting a tree. You never know when it will sprout, when it will bloom and bear fruit, or when it will grow into an evergreen. But you have to start by planting the seed.
I’ve also worked on some tool-based sites along the way. However, since I’ve been managing this while working a full-time job, I haven’t been able to dedicate enough time and energy to the overseas project. One of my biggest issues is that I spend too little time on keyword research, operations, and marketing—far from following the 424 principle—and this is something I urgently need to adjust.
Over this period, I’ve gained some experience and also encountered plenty of challenges:
The Adsense PIN was sent 4-5 times, and at one point, ad delivery was even suspended before I finally received it.
My site got indexed by Bing but was suddenly deindexed after a week.
Issues with vibe coding, Google login integration, payment setup, backlink sourcing, account operations, and more.
I plan to gradually share these experiences and the pitfalls I’ve encountered along the way.
